By default the bid form asks for the bidders the Name, Email and URL (i.e website address) if they have one. But you can change the value of the last field, i.e the URL, to anything else you like.
For instance it could be used to collect:
- An address
- A phone number
- Date of Birth
- Age
- Sex
- any other specific value
You can set what you want this custom contact field to say on the main admin panel of the plugin. Once you’ve set it, simply update your settings and the value will be updated on the plugin. You can view the details of the value from the “Current Auctions” or “Closed Auctions” screen.
